Oreo Balls are an easy no-bake dessert made with crushed Oreos, cream cheese, and a chocolate coating. These bite-sized treats are perfect for parties, holidays, or anytime you’re craving a sweet, creamy, and chocolatey indulgence.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 36 Oreo cookies (1 standard package)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 12 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips or melting chocolate
  • Optional toppings: sprinkles, crushed Oreos, or white chocolate drizzle

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Oreo Mixture:
    • Place the Oreos (including the filling) in a food processor and pulse until they form fine crumbs. Reserve 1–2 tablespoons of crumbs for garnish if desired.
    • In a large bowl, combine the Oreo crumbs and softened cream cheese. Mix until fully combined and a dough-like consistency forms.
  2. Shape the Balls:
    • Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
    • Refrigerate the balls for at least 20–30 minutes, or until firm.
  3. Coat in Chocolate:
    • Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring after each interval, until smooth.
    • Dip each Oreo ball into the melted chocolate, using a fork to lift and tap off excess chocolate. Place the coated balls back on the parchment paper.
  4. Decorate:
    • While the chocolate is still wet, sprinkle with reserved Oreo crumbs, sprinkles, or drizzle with melted white chocolate.
  5. Set and Serve:
    • Refrigerate the Oreo balls for 15–20 minutes, or until the chocolate is set. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

  • For variety, try using flavored Oreos like mint, golden, or peanut butter.
  • Store Oreo Balls in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week, or freeze for up to 3 months.
