  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp dried oregano (or Italian seasoning)
  • ¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for spice)
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional, for extra flavor)
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat the Oven

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

Step 2: Season the Chicken

  1. In a large bowl, toss the chicken pieces with olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, smoked paprika, onion powder, oregano, and red pepper flakes until well coated.

Step 3: Bake the Chicken

  1. Spread the chicken bites evenly on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.
  2. Bake for 15-18 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken is golden brown and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).

  1. If using Parmesan, sprinkle it over the hot chicken bites right after baking.
  2. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • Crispier Chicken: Broil for the last 2 minutes for a golden, crispy exterior.
  • Marinade Option: For extra juiciness, marinate the chicken in buttermilk or lemon juice for 30 minutes before baking.
  • Dipping Sauces: Serve with ranch, honey mustard, BBQ sauce, or garlic aioli.
  • Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 5-7 minutes.
