Parmesan Peppercorn Dressing is a creamy, tangy, and savory salad dressing made with fresh cracked black pepper and grated Parmesan cheese. It’s perfect for salads, sandwiches, or as a dipping sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup buttermilk
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 12 teaspoons freshly cracked black pepper (to taste)
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, and buttermilk until smooth.
  2. Add grated Parmesan, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, and cracked black pepper.
  3. Stir until all ingredients are well combined.
  4. Taste and adjust seasoning with additional salt or pepper if needed.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.

Notes

  • Use freshly grated Parmesan for the best flavor and texture.
  • Adjust pepper level to your heat preference.
  • Dressing thickens as it chills—add more buttermilk if a thinner consistency is desired.
  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to one week.
