This rich and creamy Peanut Butter Fudge is the ultimate sweet treat for peanut butter lovers. Perfect for sharing, this scaled recipe makes three double batches, yielding plenty for gifts or gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • Butter: 3 cups (6 sticks) unsalted butter
  • Peanut Butter: 3 cups creamy peanut butter (can use chunky for added texture)
  • Vanilla Extract: 3 tbsp
  • Powdered Sugar: 12 cups (about 3 lbs)

Equipment Needed

  • Large saucepan
  • 3 large mixing bowls
  • Spatulas
  • 3 9×13-inch baking pans
  • Parchment paper

Instructions

1. Prepare the Pans

  1. Line three 9×13-inch pans with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal.

2. Melt the Butter and Peanut Butter

  1. In a large saucepan, combine the butter and peanut butter.
  2. Melt over medium heat, stirring frequently until the mixture is smooth and combined. This will take about 5–7 minutes.

3. Mix in Vanilla and Sugar

  1. Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
  2. Gradually add the powdered sugar, one cup at a time, mixing well after each addition. Continue until the mixture is thick and smooth.

4. Divide and Spread

  1. Divide the fudge mixture evenly among the three prepared pans.
  2. Spread it out smoothly with a spatula.

5. Set and Slice

  1. Let the fudge cool at room temperature for 1–2 hours, or until firm. For faster setting, place the pans in the refrigerator for 30–60 minutes.
  2. Once set, use the parchment paper to lift the fudge out of the pans. Slice into squares with a sharp knife.
