This Peanut Butter Mousse is light, fluffy, and packed with rich peanut butter flavor. It’s made with whipped cream, smooth peanut butter, and crunchy peanuts for the perfect balance of creaminess and texture. Serve it as an elegant dessert in glasses or use it as a filling for cakes, pies, or parfaits!

  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • ½ cup smooth peanut butter
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ cup chopped roasted peanuts (for crunch)
  • ¼ cup mini chocolate chips (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  • Whip the Cream: In a large bowl, beat the heavy whipping cream until soft peaks form. Set aside.
  • Mix Peanut Butter Base: In another bowl, mix together the peanut butter, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth.
  • Fold in Whipped Cream: Gently fold the whipped cream into the peanut butter mixture, being careful not to deflate the mousse.
  • Add Crunch: Stir in the chopped roasted peanuts for extra texture.
  • Chill: Spoon the mousse into serving glasses or bowls and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to set.

 

  • Garnish & Serve: Top with additional crushed peanuts, mini chocolate chips, or a drizzle of melted chocolate for extra indulgence.

Notes

  • For a firmer mousse, refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
  • Make it dairy-free: Use coconut cream instead of heavy cream and a dairy-free peanut butter.
  • Storage: Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
