These Peppermint Oreo Truffles are a no-bake treat that combines the rich, chocolatey flavor of Oreos with a refreshing hint of peppermint. Coated in white chocolate and sprinkled with crushed candy canes, they’re perfect for holiday parties, gifts, or indulging at home!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (14.3 oz) package Oreos (about 36 cookies)
  • 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 tsp peppermint extract
  • 12 oz (340 g) white chocolate or white candy melts
  • 1/4 cup crushed candy canes or peppermint candies, for garnish

Instructions

1. Make the Oreo mixture

  1. Place the Oreos in a food processor and pulse until they form fine crumbs. Reserve 1–2 tablespoons of crumbs for garnish if desired.
  2. Add the softened cream cheese and peppermint extract to the food processor. Blend until the mixture is smooth and well combined.

2. Shape the truffles

  1. Scoop out small portions of the mixture (about 1 tablespoon each) and roll into balls.
  2. Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
  3. Refrigerate or freeze the truffles for 30 minutes, or until firm.

3. Coat the truffles

  1. Melt the white chocolate or candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring after each interval, until smooth.
  2. Using a fork or dipping tool, dip each chilled truffle into the melted chocolate, ensuring it’s fully coated. Let the excess drip off, then place it back on the lined baking sheet.

4. Garnish and set

  1. Immediately sprinkle each truffle with crushed candy canes or reserved Oreo crumbs before the coating hardens.
  2. Let the truffles set at room temperature or in the refrigerator until the coating is firm.

5. Serve and enjoy

  • Arrange the truffles on a platter or package them in festive boxes for gifting.
