This tropical pineapple and banana smoothie is refreshing, naturally sweet, and loaded with vitamins. It’s perfect for breakfast, a post-workout drink, or a quick snack to brighten your day.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen pineapple chunks
  • 1 ripe banana (peeled)
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt (or any plain or vanilla yogurt)
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened coconut milk (or any milk of your choice)
  • 1/4 cup orange juice (optional, for extra citrus flavor)
  • 1–2 teaspoons honey or maple syrup (optional, for added sweetness)
  • Ice cubes (if using fresh fruit, about 4–5 cubes)

Optional Toppings:

  • Pineapple slices
  • Chia seeds
  • Shredded coconut

Instructions

  1. Prepare the ingredients:
    • If using fresh pineapple and banana, peel and chop them into smaller pieces for easier blending.
  2. Blend:
    • Add the pineapple, banana, yogurt, coconut milk, orange juice (if using), and honey (if desired) to a blender.
    • If you’re using fresh fruit, add ice cubes for a chilled smoothie.
  3. Blend until smooth:
    • Blend on high speed for 1–2 minutes, or until the mixture is creamy and smooth.
  4. Serve:
    • Pour the smoothie into a glass. Garnish with your favorite toppings, if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

  • Make it dairy-free: Replace the yogurt with a non-dairy alternative, such as coconut or almond yogurt.
  • Boost it up: Add a scoop of protein powder, chia seeds, or flaxseed for extra nutrition.
  • Thicker smoothie: Use frozen banana and pineapple chunks for a thicker, creamier texture.
