Pineapple Margaritas are a tropical twist on the classic margarita, combining the sweet, tangy flavor of pineapple with smooth tequila and a hint of lime. Perfect for summer gatherings, taco nights, or anytime you need a refreshing cocktail with a tropical flair!

Ingredients

  • 4 oz tequila (silver or reposado)
  • 2 oz triple sec (or orange liqueur like Cointreau)
  • 4 oz pineapple juice (fresh or canned)
  • 2 oz lime juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 12 tsp agave syrup (optional, for sweetness)
  • Ice

For the Rim (Optional):

  • 2 tbsp tajín or salt
  • 1 lime wedge

Optional Garnishes:

  • Pineapple wedge
  • Lime slice
  • Jalapeño slices (for a spicy kick)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Glasses:

    • Run a lime wedge around the rim of each glass.
    • Dip the rim in tajín or salt for extra flavor.
  2. Mix the Margarita:

    • Fill a cocktail shaker with ice, tequila, triple sec, pineapple juice, lime juice, and agave syrup.
    • Shake well for 15-20 seconds until chilled.
  3. Serve:

    • Strain into ice-filled glasses.
    • Garnish with a pineapple wedge, lime slice, or jalapeño for spice.
