Ingredients
Scale
1 pint fresh strawberries, washed and dried
1 cup white chocolate chips or white chocolate bar, chopped
2 tbsp coconut oil or vegetable oil
1/2 tsp pink food coloring (or more for a deeper pink)
Optional toppings: sprinkles, crushed nuts, or edible glitter
Instructions
Wash and dry the strawberries thoroughly, making sure there’s no moisture left, as it can affect the chocolate coating.
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips or chopped white chocolate bar with coconut oil or vegetable oil. Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth and fully melted.
Add the pink food coloring to the melted chocolate and stir well to achieve the desired shade of pink.
Dip each strawberry into the melted pink chocolate, holding it by the stem. Gently swirl the strawberry to coat it evenly, then lift it out and let any excess chocolate drip off.
Place the dipped strawberries on a parchment-lined baking sheet or a silicone baking mat.
If desired, sprinkle the chocolate-covered strawberries with toppings like sprinkles, crushed nuts, or edible glitter while the chocolate is still wet.
Allow the chocolate to set by refrigerating the strawberries for about 15-20 minutes or until the chocolate is firm.
Serve immediately or store in the fridge for up to 2 days for the best freshness.
Notes
For a twist, you can drizzle dark or milk chocolate over the pink chocolate for a decorative effect.
Use a high-quality white chocolate for the best melting and flavor.
Make sure the strawberries are completely dry before dipping to avoid the chocolate from seizing up.
These can be made ahead and stored in the fridge, but they are best enjoyed fresh.
