This Pink Hot Chocolate is a creamy, sweet, and delightful drink that’s as beautiful as it is delicious! Perfect for Valentine’s Day, baby showers, or anytime you want a whimsical treat. Made with white chocolate and a hint of food coloring, it’s a fun twist on a classic.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups (480 ml) whole milk
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup (85 g) white chocolate chips or chopped white chocolate
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 23 drops pink food coloring (gel or liquid)
  • Whipped cream, for topping (optional)
  • Pink sprinkles, marshmallows, or edible glitter, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat the milk and cream:
    • In a medium saucepan over medium-low heat, combine the milk and heavy cream. Warm the mixture, stirring occasionally, until it’s hot but not boiling.
  2. Add the white chocolate:
    • Reduce the heat to low and add the white chocolate. Stir continuously until the chocolate is fully melted and the mixture is smooth.
  3. Add flavor and color:
    • Stir in the vanilla extract and pink food coloring, adjusting the color to your preference. Mix until the color is evenly distributed.
  4. Serve:
    • Pour the pink hot chocolate into mugs. Top with whipped cream, pink sprinkles, marshmallows, or edible glitter for an extra festive touch.
  5. Enjoy:
    • Serve immediately and savor the creamy sweetness!

Notes

  • Dairy-free option: Substitute the milk and cream with almond milk, coconut milk, or oat milk for a dairy-free version.
  • Color variations: Use other food coloring to create blue, lavender, or mint green hot chocolate.
  • Add-ins: Add a drop of strawberry extract for extra flavor or a drizzle of strawberry syrup for garnish.
