1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8 count)
1/2 cup pizza sauce
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup mini pepperoni or chopped pepperoni
1 tsp Italian seasoning
2 tbsp melted butter
1 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Flatten each biscuit into a 3-inch round.
Place about 1 tsp of pizza sauce, 1 tbsp mozzarella cheese, and a few pieces of pepperoni in the center of each round.
Fold the dough over the filling and pinch to seal, forming a ball.
Place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
Brush each popper with melted butter and sprinkle with Italian seasoning and Parmesan cheese.
Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
Serve warm with extra pizza sauce for dipping if desired.
Notes
Use crescent dough or pizza dough as an alternative to biscuit dough.
You can customize the filling with veggies, sausage, or other cheeses.
Great for freezing—bake and then reheat in the oven when needed.
