Pretzel Wreaths are delightful no-bake treats that combine the satisfying crunch of pretzels with the sweetness of melted chocolate, all shaped into festive wreaths perfect for the holiday season. They’re quick to prepare and make for excellent edible decorations or gifts.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 60 mini pretzel twists
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips or green candy melts
  • Assorted holiday sprinkles
  • Red string licorice (optional, for bows)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Your Workspace:
Line a baking sheet with parchment or wax paper.

  2. Melt the Chocolate:
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt white chocolate chips or green candy melts in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.

  3. Form the Wreaths:

    • Dip the bottom half of each pretzel into the melted chocolate.
    • Arrange 6 pretzels in a circular shape on the baking sheet to form the base of the wreath.
    • Add a second layer of chocolate-dipped pretzels, offsetting them to create a fuller look.
  4. Decorate:

    • Before the chocolate sets, sprinkle with holiday sprinkles.
    • Add a red string licorice bow for extra holiday flair.
  5. Set the Wreaths:

    • Let them set at room temperature or chill in the fridge for about 15 minutes until firm.

Notes

  • Chocolate Options: You can use dark or milk chocolate instead of white. If using white chocolate, add green food coloring for a classic wreath look.
  • Storage: Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
  • Creative Toppings: Try crushed candy canes, mini chocolate chips, or edible glitter for a personalized touch.
