This Provolone Goodness is a cheesy, melty, and savory appetizer featuring baked or skillet-fried provolone cheese, infused with garlic, herbs, and served with crusty bread for dipping. It’s perfect for parties, game nights, or anytime you’re craving gooey, cheesy deliciousness!

Instructions

Option 1: Baked Provolone Goodness

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Lightly grease a small oven-safe dish or cast-iron skillet.
  3. Place provolone slices or a provolone block in the dish.
  4. In a small bowl, mix olive oil, garlic, oregano, red pepper flakes, and black pepper. Drizzle over the cheese.
  5. Bake for 8-10 minutes, until the cheese is fully melted and bubbly.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately with toasted bread or crackers.

Option 2: Skillet-Fried Provolone Goodness

  1. Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat and add olive oil.
  2. Place provolone slices in the skillet and sprinkle with garlic, oregano, and black pepper.
  3. Cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown. Flip carefully and cook for another 1-2 minutes.
