These Pumpkin Pecan Crescent Rolls are a quick and easy fall treat! Buttery, flaky crescent rolls are filled with a sweet pumpkin-spiced filling and crunchy pecans—perfect for breakfast, dessert, or a cozy snack.

  • 1 can (8 oz / 226 g) crescent roll dough
  • ½ cup pumpkin purée (not pumpkin pie filling)
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice (or mix of cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves)
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup chopped pecans
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey (optional, for extra sweetness)

For Topping:

  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar + ½ teaspoon cinnamon (for sprinkling)
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar + 1 tablespoon milk (optional glaze)

Instructions

1️⃣ Preheat & Prep

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2️⃣ Make the Pumpkin Filling

  • In a small bowl, mix pumpkin purée, brown sugar, pumpkin pie spice, vanilla extract, melted butter, and maple syrup (if using).

3️⃣ Assemble the Crescent Rolls

  • Unroll the crescent dough and separate into triangles.
  • Spread 1 teaspoon of pumpkin filling onto each triangle.
  • Sprinkle with chopped pecans.
  • Roll up from the wide end to the tip and place on the baking sheet.

4️⃣ Bake Until Golden

  • Brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes, until golden brown.

  • Mix powdered sugar + milk to create a glaze and drizzle over warm rolls.
