Red, White & Blue American Flag Jello Shots are layered gelatin treats with patriotic colors and spiked with vodka, making them a fun and festive addition to your 4th of July celebration.

  • 1 (3 oz) box blue raspberry Jello
  • 1 (3 oz) box cherry or strawberry Jello
  • 1 envelope unflavored gelatin
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 cups vodka (divided)
  • 2 cups boiling water (divided)
  • 1 cup cold water (divided)
  • Whipped cream and sprinkles for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare blue layer: In a bowl, mix blue Jello with 1 cup boiling water. Stir until dissolved. Add 1/2 cup vodka and 1/2 cup cold water. Pour a layer into shot cups or a dish and refrigerate until set, about 45 minutes.
  2. Prepare white layer: In a bowl, sprinkle unflavored gelatin over 1/2 cup cold water. Let bloom for 5 minutes. Add 1/2 cup boiling water and stir to dissolve. Mix in sweetened condensed milk and 1/2 cup vodka. Let cool to room temperature, then pour over blue layer and refrigerate until set.
  3. Prepare red layer: Mix red Jello with 1 cup boiling water, stir to dissolve, then add 1/2 cup vodka and 1/2 cup cold water. Let cool to room temperature, then pour over white layer. Refrigerate until completely set, at least 2 hours.
  4. Top with whipped cream and sprinkles before serving if desired.
