This Reese’s Peanut Butter Banana Bread is a decadent twist on the classic. Packed with creamy peanut butter, chunks of Reese’s candies, and ripe bananas, it’s a moist and flavorful treat perfect for breakfast, dessert, or an anytime snack.

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup Reese’s candies (chopped peanut butter cups or Reese’s pieces)
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips (optional, for extra chocolatey goodness)

 


Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease or line a 9×5-inch loaf pan with parchment paper.
  2. Mix Wet Ingredients:
    • In a large bowl, mash the bananas until smooth. Stir in the peanut butter, melted butter, and sugar until well combined.
    • Beat in the eggs and vanilla extract.
  3. Combine Dry Ingredients:
    • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  4. Add Reese’s and Chocolate Chips:
    • Fold in the chopped Reese’s candies and chocolate chips, reserving a few pieces for topping if desired.
  5. Bake:
    • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top. Sprinkle the reserved Reese’s pieces on top for decoration.
    • Bake for 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  6. Cool and Serve:
    • Let the banana bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Slice and enjoy!

 


Notes

  • For extra peanut butter flavor, drizzle melted peanut butter over the top before serving.
  • This bread freezes well. Wrap slices tightly in plastic wrap and store in the freezer for up to 3 months.
  • Add a handful of chopped peanuts for extra crunch.
