These Salted Pretzel Magic Bars combine a sweet and salty crunch with layers of pretzels, chocolate, butterscotch, and coconut, all held together by rich, gooey sweetened condensed milk.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups crushed salted pretzels
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup butterscotch chips
  • 1 cup sweetened shredded coconut
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • Flaky sea salt, for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13-inch baking dish with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. In a bowl, mix crushed pretzels with melted butter. Press mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan to form a crust.
  3. Layer chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, coconut, and nuts (if using) evenly over the pretzel crust.
  4. Drizzle sweetened condensed milk evenly over the entire pan, making sure to cover all ingredients.
  5. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the edges are golden and the center is set.
  6. Remove from oven and sprinkle lightly with flaky sea salt while still warm.
  7. Cool completely in the pan before cutting into bars.

Notes

  • For extra crunch, lightly toast the coconut before layering.
  • Line the pan with parchment for easy removal and clean cuts.
  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
