These Santa’s Favorite Cookies are a fun and festive treat made with buttery cookie dough, creamy white chocolate chips, and colorful sprinkles. Perfect for Christmas Eve or holiday cookie exchanges!

Ingredients

  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¾ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ¾ cup brown sugar, packed
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • ½ cup red and green sprinkles
  • ½ cup crushed candy canes (optional)

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat & Prep

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2: Make the Dough

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  2. In a large bowl, beat butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy (about 2 minutes).
  3. Mix in eggs and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Gradually add dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  5. Stir in white chocolate chips, sprinkles, and crushed candy canes.

Step 3: Bake the Cookies

  1. Scoop tablespoon-sized dough balls onto the baking sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart.
  2. Bake for 9-11 minutes, until the edges are set but the centers are still soft.
  3. Let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.

 


Notes

  • For extra festive cookies, press a few extra white chocolate chips and sprinkles on top before baking.
  • Storage: Keep in an airtight container for up to 5 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
  • No candy canes? Swap them for chopped nuts or M&Ms!
