Sausage & Cream Cheese Biscuit Bites are savory, cheesy, and flaky appetizers made with sausage, cream cheese, and biscuit dough—perfect for parties or quick breakfasts.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound breakfast sausage
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 can (16 ounces) refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook sausage until browned and crumbled. Drain excess grease.
  3. In a bowl, mix cooked sausage with cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, and black pepper until well combined.
  4. Separate biscuit dough into individual biscuits and flatten each into a 3-inch circle.
  5. Spoon about 1 tablespoon of sausage mixture into the center of each biscuit circle.
  6. Fold the dough around the filling and pinch to seal. Place seam side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • Use spicy sausage for an extra kick.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container and reheat in the oven for best results.
  • Great for freezing; bake directly from frozen, adding a few extra minutes to the bake time.
  • Brush tops with melted butter and a sprinkle of garlic salt for extra flavor.
