A hearty and savory sausage egg biscuit casserole layered with fluffy biscuits, seasoned sausage, eggs, and cheese. It’s an easy make-ahead breakfast perfect for feeding a crowd.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb breakfast sausage
  • 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough, cut into quarters
  • 8 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: chopped green onions or parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook sausage until browned and crumbled. Drain excess fat.
  3. Spread biscuit pieces evenly in the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  4. Top with cooked sausage and shredded cheese.
  5. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  6. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the sausage and biscuits.
  7. Bake uncovered for 35–40 minutes or until the eggs are set and the top is golden brown.
  8. Let cool for a few minutes before slicing. Garnish with green onions or parsley if desired.
