  • 10 full-size graham crackers
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) salted butter
  • 1 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 cups mini marshmallows

Instructions

  • Prepare the Baking Sheet:
    • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
    • Line a 9×13-inch baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil, ensuring it covers the sides for easy cleanup.
    • Arrange the graham crackers in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, breaking them as needed to fit and cover the entire bottom.
  • Make the Toffee Layer:
    • In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and brown sugar together, stirring constantly until the mixture reaches a rolling boil.
    • Once boiling, continue to cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring frequently, until the mixture thickens slightly and becomes a rich caramel color.
  • Assemble and Bake:
    • Carefully pour the hot toffee mixture over the graham crackers, spreading it evenly with a spatula to cover all the crackers.
    • Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 5-7 minutes, or until the toffee layer is bubbling.
  • Add Chocolate and Marshmallows:
    • Remove the baking sheet from the oven and immediately sprinkle the chocolate chips evenly over the hot toffee layer.
    • Allow the chocolate to sit for 1-2 minutes to melt, then use a spatula to spread it into an even layer.
    • Sprinkle the mini marshmallows evenly over the melted chocolate.
  • Toast the Marshmallows:
    • Set your oven to broil.
    • Place the baking sheet back in the oven for 1-2 minutes, watching closely, until the marshmallows are golden brown and toasted. Be careful not to let them burn.
  • Cool and Serve:
    • Remove from the oven and let the S’mores Crack cool completely in the pan.
    • Once cooled and set, break it into pieces and serve.
