Snowman Oreo Balls are a fun and festive no-bake treat for the holiday season! Crushed Oreo cookies are mixed with cream cheese, rolled into balls, dipped in white chocolate, and decorated to look like adorable snowmen. Perfect for holiday parties or edible gifts!

For the Oreo balls:

  • 36 Oreo cookies (about 1 standard package)
  • 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened

For decoration:

  • 2 cups (350 g) white chocolate or white candy melts
  • Mini chocolate chips (for eyes and buttons)
  • Orange sprinkles or candy-coated sunflower seeds (for noses)
  • Black decorating gel or edible marker (for mouths)
  • Pretzel sticks, broken into small pieces (for arms, optional)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Oreo mixture:

  • Place the Oreo cookies in a food processor and pulse until fine crumbs form.
  • Add the softened cream cheese to the processor and blend until the mixture is fully combined and smooth.

2. Form the Oreo balls:

  • Scoop about 1 tablespoon of the Oreo mixture and roll it into a ball. Repeat until all the mixture is used.
  • Chill the Oreo balls in the refrigerator or freezer for 30 minutes to firm up.

3. Melt the chocolate:

  • In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate or candy melts in 20-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth.

4. Dip the Oreo balls:

  • Using a fork or dipping tool, dip each chilled Oreo ball into the melted chocolate, ensuring it is fully coated. Tap off the excess chocolate and place the ball on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

5. Decorate the snowmen:

  • While the coating is still wet, press mini chocolate chips onto the balls for the eyes and buttons. Use an orange sprinkle or candy seed for the nose. Let the coating set completely.
  • Once set, use black decorating gel or an edible marker to draw on a smile. Insert pretzel stick pieces on the sides for arms, if desired.

6. Chill and serve:

  • Refrigerate the decorated Oreo balls for at least 15 minutes to firm up. Serve chilled.

Notes

  • Use colored candy melts to make hats or scarves for extra flair.
  • If the white chocolate is too thick, thin it with a small amount of coconut oil or vegetable shortening.
