A zesty, creamy sauce that elevates any burger with a tangy and slightly sweet flavor, perfect as a topping or dipping sauce.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 Tbsp ketchup
  • 1 Tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 Tbsp sweet pickle relish
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ¼ tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp pickle juice (optional, for added tang)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine mayonnaise, ketchup, and Dijon mustard. Stir until smooth.
  2. Add sweet pickle relish, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. Mix well to combine all flavors.
  3. If you prefer more tang, stir in pickle juice, one teaspoon at a time, tasting as you go.
  4. Cover the bowl and refrigerate the sauce for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
  5. Serve chilled on burgers, sandwiches, or as a dipping sauce for fries and onion rings.

Notes

  • Make ahead: this sauce can be made up to 3 days in advance and stored in the fridge.
  • Adjust sweetness by increasing or reducing ketchup or relish.
  • For spice lovers, add a dash of hot sauce or a pinch of cayenne pepper.
  • Use low-fat or vegan mayonnaise to fit dietary preferences.
  • Thicker consistency? Add more relish or reduce ketchup slightly.
