This Spicy Serrano Pineapple Margarita is a bold and refreshing cocktail that combines sweet pineapple juice with fiery serrano peppers, fresh lime, and smooth tequila for a perfectly balanced tropical drink with a kick.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 oz tequila (blanco recommended)
  • 1 oz triple sec or orange liqueur
  • 2 oz pineapple juice
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 oz agave syrup (or to taste)
  • 23 thin slices serrano pepper (adjust for heat)
  • Ice
  • Chili-lime seasoning or salt, for rimming (optional)
  • Lime wedge and pineapple slice, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Optional: Rim a glass with lime juice and dip in chili-lime seasoning or salt. Set aside.
  2. In a shaker, muddle serrano slices with lime juice and agave syrup.
  3. Add tequila, triple sec, pineapple juice, and ice to the shaker. Shake well for 15–20 seconds.
  4. Strain into a glass filled with ice (fine strain for less heat or seeds).
  5. Garnish with a lime wedge and pineapple slice. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use fewer or more serrano slices depending on spice preference.
  • Jalapeño can be substituted for a milder spice level.
  • Fresh pineapple juice enhances flavor, but bottled works in a pinch.
  • For a frozen version, blend ingredients with ice instead of shaking.
