Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with these festive pretzels dipped in green and white chocolate and decorated with sprinkles! These quick and easy treats are perfect for parties, gifting, or a fun family activity.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips or melting wafers
  • 1 cup green candy melts (or white chocolate tinted with green food coloring)
  • St. Patrick’s Day-themed sprinkles (gold, green, white, shamrock shapes, etc.)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Your Workspace:
    • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or wax paper to place the dipped pretzels for drying.
  2. Melt the Chocolate:
    • In separate microwave-safe bowls, melt the white chocolate and green candy melts in 30-second intervals, stirring after each interval, until smooth and fully melted.
  3. Dip the Pretzels:
    • Dip each pretzel rod about two-thirds of the way into the melted chocolate, tapping off any excess. You can dip some in white chocolate and others in green for variety.
    • Place the dipped pretzels on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Decorate:
    • While the chocolate is still wet, sprinkle the pretzels with St. Patrick’s Day sprinkles. Get creative by drizzling the contrasting chocolate over the dipped pretzels for a festive touch.
  5. Set the Chocolate:
    • Allow the pretzels to sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes, or refrigerate them for 10-15 minutes to set the chocolate faster.
  6. Serve or Package:
    • Once the chocolate is set, serve the pretzels on a platter or package them in treat bags tied with green ribbon for gifting.

Notes

  • Use a fork or piping bag to drizzle chocolate for a fun design.
  • Store the pretzels in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week.
  • Try different candy melts (gold or dark chocolate) for added variety!
