A smooth and creamy frozen dessert bursting with strawberry flavor, perfect for cooling off on a warm day.

Ingredients

Scale

  • 2 cups frozen strawberries
  • 1/2 cup pineapple juice
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened coconut milk (or any milk of your choice)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar (adjust to taste)

Instructions

  • Blend Ingredients:
    • In a high-powered blender or food processor, combine the frozen strawberries, pineapple juice, coconut milk, lemon juice, and powdered sugar.
    • Blend on high until the mixture is smooth and creamy. If it’s too thick, add a little more pineapple juice or coconut milk to reach the desired consistency.
  • Adjust Sweetness:
    • Taste the mixture and adjust the sweetness if necessary by adding more powdered sugar. Blend again to combine.
  • Serve Immediately:
    • For a soft-serve consistency, serve the Dole Whip immediately by spooning it into bowls or piping it using a piping bag for a classic swirl effect.
  • Optional Freezing:
    • If you prefer a firmer texture, transfer the mixture to a freezer-safe container and freeze for about 20-30 minutes. Stir halfway through to ensure even freezing.
  • Garnish and Enjoy:
    • Serve as is, or garnish with fresh strawberry slices, a sprig of mint, or a drizzle of honey.

Notes

  • Milk Alternatives: You can substitute coconut milk with almond milk, oat milk, or dairy milk based on your preference.
  • Sweetener Options: Adjust the type and amount of sweetener to your liking. Honey, agave syrup, or stevia can be used as alternatives to powdered sugar.
  • Storage: Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the freezer for up to a week. Let it sit at room temperature for a few minutes before serving to soften slightly.
