These Sugar Cookie Truffles are a no-bake treat that tastes like a holiday dream! Made with crumbled sugar cookies and creamy white chocolate, they’re rich, sweet, and perfect for gifting or adding to your festive dessert spread.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups sugar cookies, finely crumbled (homemade or store-bought)
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips or white candy melts
  • Optional toppings: holiday sprinkles, crushed candy canes, or colored sugar

Instructions

  • Prepare the Dough: In a large mixing bowl, combine the crumbled sugar cookies, cream cheese, and vanilla extract. Mix until the mixture forms a dough-like consistency.
  • Shape the Truffles: Scoop out tablespoon-sized portions of the mixture and roll them into balls. Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  • Melt the Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips or candy melts in 30-second intervals, stirring after each interval, until smooth.
  • Coat the Truffles: Using a fork or a dipping tool, dip each chilled truffle into the melted chocolate, letting the excess drip off. Place the coated truffles back on the parchment paper.
  • Decorate: Before the chocolate sets, top with sprinkles, crushed candy canes, or colored sugar for a festive touch.
  • Set the Coating: Let the truffles sit at room temperature until the chocolate hardens, or refrigerate them for 15–20 minutes to speed up the process.

Notes

  • Store the truffles in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
  • Customize with your favorite cookie crumbs, like snickerdoodles or gingerbread, for a fun twist!
  • For a drizzle effect, melt extra white or dark chocolate and drizzle it over the truffles after coating.
