Ingredients
Scale
2 ribeye or filet mignon steaks (about 8 oz each)
1/2 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp butter
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 tsp smoked paprika (for shrimp)
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Lemon wedges for serving (optional)
Instructions
Season steaks with salt and pepper. Let them sit at room temperature for 15–20 minutes.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steaks 3–5 minutes per side or to desired doneness. Remove and let rest.
In the same skillet, add 1 tbsp butter and shrimp seasoned with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika. Cook 2–3 minutes per side until pink and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
Lower heat to medium, add remaining butter and minced garlic. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan and cook until sauce thickens, 3–5 minutes.
Return shrimp to the pan and coat in the sauce. Spoon sauce and shrimp over steaks and garnish with parsley. Serve with lemon wedges if desired.
Notes
Use lobster tail instead of shrimp for an elevated version.
Pair with mashed potatoes or roasted vegetables for a complete meal.
