This Sweet Baby Ray’s Crockpot Chicken is tender, flavorful, and effortless. Chicken breasts slow-cooked in your favorite BBQ sauce (Sweet Baby Ray’s, of course!) with a few simple ingredients makes a dish that’s perfect for sandwiches, wraps, rice bowls, or straight off the plate. Minimal prep, max flavor!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)

  • 1 ½ cups Sweet Baby Ray’s Barbecue Sauce

  • ¼ cup honey (optional, for extra sweetness)

  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Place chicken in the bottom of your slow cooker.

  2. In a bowl, mix together the barbecue sauce, honey (if using), Worcestershire sauce, vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.

  3. Pour the sauce over the chicken and toss to coat evenly.

  4. Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or high for 3–4 hours, until the chicken is tender and easily shredded.

  5. Shred the chicken in the crockpot using two forks and stir to coat in the sauce.

  6. Serve hot on buns, over rice, or in wraps!

Notes

  • Add sliced onions or bell peppers for extra flavor.

  • Try it with chicken thighs for a richer texture.

  • Great for meal prep — leftovers keep well in the fridge for up to 4 days.
