Ingredients
Scale
1 lb Lit’l Smokies or mini smoked sausages
1 cup barbecue sauce
1/2 cup grape jelly
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Optional: pinch of red pepper flakes
Instructions
Combine barbecue sauce, grape jelly, brown sugar, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and red pepper flakes (if using) in a saucepan over medium heat.
Stir until the jelly is melted and the sauce is smooth.
Add Lit’l Smokies and stir to coat evenly.
Reduce heat and simmer for 10–15 minutes until sausages are heated through and sauce thickens slightly.
Serve warm directly from the pot or transfer to a slow cooker to keep warm during serving.
Notes
Substitute chili sauce for grape jelly for a tangier flavor.
Can be made in a slow cooker: combine all ingredients and heat on low for 2–3 hours.
Use turkey or plant-based sausages for dietary variations.
