  • 8 chicken drumsticks
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Pat drumsticks dry and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika.
  2. In a bowl, mix together barbecue sauce, honey, soy sauce, and olive oil.
  3. Place drumsticks in the crockpot and pour sauce mixture over them.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or on high for 3–4 hours, until chicken is tender and cooked through.
  5. Optional: For crispy skin, place drumsticks under a broiler for 3–5 minutes after slow cooking.
  6. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
