A fun and delicious TikTok-inspired baked oats recipe that tastes like cake but is made with wholesome ingredients for a healthy breakfast or snack.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 banana
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • Optional mix-ins: chocolate chips, berries, nuts

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a small oven-safe ramekin or baking dish.
  2. In a blender, combine oats, banana, egg, milk, maple syrup, baking powder, vanilla extract, and salt. Blend until smooth.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared ramekin.
  4. Stir in or sprinkle on your choice of mix-ins like chocolate chips or berries.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
