  • 1 teaspoon sriracha or hot sauce (adjust to taste)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds
  • 1 green onion, finely chopped


Instructions

1. Cook the Noodles:

  • Cook the ramen noodles according to package instructions, usually 2-3 minutes in boiling water until tender.
  • Drain and set aside.

2. Make the Sauce:

  • In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  • Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Stir in the soy sauce, brown sugar, oyster sauce, and sriracha.
  • Cook until the sauce begins to bubble and slightly thicken.

3. Toss the Noodles:

  • Add the cooked ramen noodles to the skillet.
  • Toss until the noodles are evenly coated in the sauce.

4. Add the Egg:

  • Push the noodles to one side of the skillet.
  • Crack the egg into the empty space and scramble it gently until cooked.
  • Mix the scrambled egg into the noodles.

5. Serve:

  • Sprinkle with crushed red pepper flakes, toasted sesame seeds, and chopped green onions.
