Tortilla Rollups are a quick and easy appetizer made by spreading a flavorful filling on soft tortillas, rolling them up, and slicing into bite-sized pinwheels—perfect for parties or snacks.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/4 cup diced green chilies (optional)
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 5 large flour tortillas

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, mix together cream cheese, sour cream, shredded cheddar, green onions, green chilies (if using), garlic powder, and salt until well combined.
  2. Lay out each tortilla and spread an even layer of the mixture over the entire surface.
  3. Roll each tortilla up tightly.
  4. Wrap the rolled tortillas in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to firm up.
  5. Remove from fridge and slice into 1-inch pieces to form pinwheels.
  6. Serve chilled or at room temperature.

Notes

  • You can customize the filling with deli meats, olives, or herbs.
  • Make ahead for convenience—best served within 24 hours.
  • Use flavored tortillas (spinach, sun-dried tomato) for variety.
