This sandwich is the ultimate sweet and savory combo. With layers of tender turkey, creamy brie, tart cranberry sauce, crisp pear slices, buttery avocado, and crispy bacon, all nestled between hearty bread—it’s a flavor-packed bite you’ll want on repeat. Great for using up Thanksgiving leftovers or turning deli meat into a gourmet meal.
2 slices hearty bread (whole grain, sourdough, or cranberry-walnut recommended)
4 oz roasted turkey breast, sliced or shredded
2 slices cooked bacon
1 tbsp cranberry sauce
2–3 thin slices ripe pear (Bosc or Anjou work great)
2–3 slices ripe avocado
1 oz brie cheese, sliced
Handful of baby spinach or arugula
Optional: 1 tsp mayo or Dijon mustard
Prep your ingredients:
Cook the bacon until crispy. Slice the pear, avocado, and brie.
Layer the sandwich:
On one slice of bread, layer spinach or arugula, followed by turkey, cranberry sauce, pear slices, brie, avocado, and crispy bacon.
Finish and serve:
Add mayo or mustard to the other slice of bread, if using. Close the sandwich and press gently. Slice in half and enjoy as-is or lightly toast/grill it for a melty, warm twist.
Bread Tip: A nutty or fruit-filled bread adds a little extra flavor punch.
Make it melty: Grill the sandwich on a skillet (like a panini) to melt the brie and crisp the bread.
Leftover-friendly: This recipe is amazing with leftover holiday turkey, but deli slices work great too.
