Turtle Cookie Cups are chewy chocolate chip cookie cups filled with gooey caramel, crunchy pecans, and a drizzle of melted chocolate for a bite-sized twist on classic turtle candies.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 tube (16.5 oz) refrigerated chocolate chip cookie dough
  • 24 soft caramels, unwrapped
  • 2 tbsp heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a mini muffin pan well.
  2. Cut cookie dough into 24 equal pieces and press each piece into the bottom and up the sides of each muffin cup to form a cup shape.
  3. Bake for 10–12 minutes or until golden brown. If needed, use the back of a spoon to press centers down to maintain the cup shape.
  4. While cookies bake, melt caramels and heavy cream together in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  5. Let cookie cups cool slightly, then spoon melted caramel into each cup. Top with chopped pecans.
  6. Melt chocolate chips and vegetable oil together until smooth. Drizzle over the tops of the cookie cups.
  7. Let chocolate set before serving. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Use parchment or nonstick spray generously to help remove cookie cups easily.
  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
  • Try using dark chocolate chips for a richer flavor.
