This Turtle Pie features a crunchy Oreo crust, silky caramel filling, creamy chocolate ganache, and a sprinkle of toasted pecans. A rich, no-bake dessert that’s perfect for holidays or special occasions!

For the Crust:

  • 24 Oreo cookies, crushed into fine crumbs
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

For the Caramel Layer:

  • 1 cup soft caramels (about 20 caramels, like Kraft)
  • ¼ cup heavy cream
  • ¾ cup chopped pecans, toasted

For the Chocolate Filling:

  • 1 ½ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For Topping:

  • ¼ cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • ¼ cup chopped pecans
  • ¼ cup mini chocolate chips (optional)
  • Whipped cream (optional)

 


Instructions

Step 1: Make the Crust

  1. In a bowl, mix Oreo crumbs with melted butter until well combined.
  2. Press into a 9-inch pie dish or springform pan.
  3. Chill in the fridge for 10-15 minutes while preparing the filling.

Step 2: Make the Caramel Layer

  1. In a small saucepan, melt caramels and heavy cream over low heat, stirring until smooth.
  2. Stir in toasted pecans and pour over the chilled crust.
  3. Refrigerate for 10 minutes to set.

Step 3: Make the Chocolate Filling

  1. In a heatproof bowl, add chocolate chips.
  2. Heat heavy cream until hot (but not boiling) and pour over chocolate. Let sit for 2 minutes, then stir until smooth.
  3. Stir in vanilla extract and pour over the caramel layer.
  4. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours (or until set).

Step 4: Add Toppings & Serve

 

  1. Drizzle with caramel sauce and sprinkle with chopped pecans and mini chocolate chips.
  2. Garnish with whipped cream, if desired.
  3. Slice and enjoy!

Notes

  • Make Ahead: Turtle Pie can be made up to 3 days in advance and stored in the fridge.
  • No Oreos? Use graham crackers for a different crust.
  • For extra crunch, sprinkle sea salt over the caramel layer!
