Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box (15.25 oz/432g) vanilla or white cake mix
  • 2 large eggs
  • ⅓ cup (80ml) vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
  • ½ cup (75g) Valentine’s Day-themed sprinkles
  • ½ cup (75g) Valentine’s M&M’s or chocolate candies

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone baking mats.
  2. Prepare the Dough:
    • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, eggs, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract (if using). Stir until a soft dough forms.
    • Gently fold in the sprinkles and M&M’s, ensuring they are evenly distributed.
  3. Shape the Cookies:
    • Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough and roll into balls. Place them on the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
    • Flatten slightly with your hand or the back of a spoon.
  4. Bake:
    • Bake for 9-11 minutes, or until the edges are set but the centers are still soft. Do not overbake.
    • Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
  5. Serve:
    • Enjoy as is, or package them in festive bags or boxes for gifting!
