A refreshing and crunchy Waldorf Chicken Salad combining tender chicken, crisp apples, celery, grapes, and walnuts in a creamy dressing.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast, diced
  • 1 cup red grapes, halved
  • 1 apple, diced
  • 1/2 cup celery, sliced
  • 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lettuce leaves for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the diced chicken, grapes, apple, celery, and walnuts.
  2. In a separate small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour the dressing over the chicken mixture and toss to combine evenly.
  4. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  5. Serve on a bed of lettuce leaves if desired.

Notes

  • Use Greek yogurt instead of mayonnaise for a lighter version.
  • Add a dash of Dijon mustard for extra flavor in the dressing.
