Ingredients

Scale

For the sliders:

  • 1 lb (450 g) ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely diced
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 8 slider buns

For the toppings:

  • 8 slices of American cheese (or any melting cheese)
  • Pickle slices
  • Ketchup and mustard, to taste

For the butter glaze:

  • 1/4 cup (60 g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • 1/2 tsp sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions

1. Cook the beef mixture

  1. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and diced onion.
  2. Cook until the beef is browned and the onion is softened, about 5–7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Remove from heat and set aside.

2. Assemble the sliders

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Place the bottom halves of the slider buns in a baking dish or on a baking sheet.
  3. Spread the cooked beef mixture evenly over the buns.
  4. Top each slider with a slice of cheese, followed by pickles.
  5. Place the top halves of the buns on the sliders.

3. Prepare the butter glaze

  1. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, garlic powder, parsley, and sesame seeds (if using).
  2. Brush the butter glaze generously over the tops of the buns.

4. Bake the sliders

  1. Cover the sliders with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes.
  2. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and the cheese is melted.

5. Serve

  1. Serve the sliders warm with ketchup and mustard on the side for dipping or spreading.

Notes

  • Customizations: Add bacon, jalapeños, or sautéed mushrooms for extra flavor.
  • Make-Ahead: Cook the beef mixture in advance and assemble just before baking.
  • Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat in the oven for best results.
