Apple Cinnamon Roll Bake is a warm, gooey, and comforting dish that combines the flavors of soft cinnamon rolls, tender baked apples, and a sweet cinnamon glaze. This easy, semi-homemade recipe is perfect for breakfast, brunch, or a holiday treat!

  • 2 (12.4 oz) cans refrigerated cinnamon rolls (like Pillsbury)
  • 2 medium apples, peeled & diced (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
  • Icing from cinnamon roll package

Instructions

1. Preheat & Prepare the Dish:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter or nonstick spray.

2. Cut the Cinnamon Rolls:

  • Separate the cinnamon rolls and cut each into quarters.

3. Prepare the Apple Mixture:

  • In a bowl, mix diced apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, and melted butter.

4. Assemble the Bake:

  • Toss the cinnamon roll pieces and apple mixture together.
  • Spread evenly in the greased baking dish.
  • Sprinkle with chopped nuts (if using).

5. Bake Until Golden:

  • Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the cinnamon rolls are golden brown and cooked through.

6. Drizzle with Icing & Serve:

  • Let cool for 5 minutes, then drizzle with the icing from the cinnamon roll package.
  • Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Make It Extra Gooey: Drizzle with extra caramel sauce before serving.
Add More Apples: Use 3 apples for an even fruitier bake.
Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the microwave for 20-30 seconds.
