These Garlic Butter Cheesy Crescent Rolls are golden, buttery, and stuffed with gooey melted cheese. Made with refrigerated crescent dough, they’re quick, easy, and perfect as a side dish or snack!

Ingredients

Scale

  • 1 (8-count) can refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 4 mozzarella string cheese sticks, cut in half
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon parsley (fresh or dried)
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare garlic butter – In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, parsley, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Assemble the rolls – Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into 8 triangles. Place a piece of mozzarella at the wide end of each triangle and roll up tightly, tucking in the sides slightly to prevent cheese from leaking.
  4. Brush with garlic butter – Arrange rolls on the baking sheet and brush each one generously with garlic butter. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese if using.
  5. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Serve & enjoy – Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm with marinara sauce for dipping!

Notes

  • Cheese Options: Use cheddar, pepper jack, or provolone for a twist.
  • Extra Crispy: Bake for an extra 2 minutes for a crispier texture.
  • Make Ahead: Assemble rolls, refrigerate, and bake fresh when ready.
