These Ham and Cheese Crescent Rolls are buttery, flaky, and filled with savory ham and melty cheese. Made with refrigerated crescent roll dough, they come together in minutes and are perfect for a quick meal, appetizer, or party snack!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (8 oz) can refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 8 slices deli ham (thinly sliced)
  • 8 slices cheese (cheddar, Swiss, or provolone)
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon or honey mustard (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan (optional, for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Assemble the crescent rolls:

    • Unroll the crescent dough and separate into 8 triangles.
    • Spread a thin layer of mustard on each (if using).
    • Place 1 slice of ham and 1 slice of cheese on the wide end of each triangle.
    • Roll up from the wide end to the point, tucking in the sides slightly to keep the filling in.
  3. Brush & season:

    • Brush the tops with melted butter.
    • Sprinkle with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and Parmesan (if using).
  4. Bake:

    • Place rolls on the baking sheet, leaving space between them.
    • Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and flaky.
  5. Serve & enjoy:

    • Let cool slightly and serve warm with honey mustard, ranch, or marinara for dipping!

Notes

  • Spicy Version: Add a few slices of jalapeño or a drizzle of hot sauce inside.
  • Breakfast Style: Add scrambled eggs before rolling up.
  • Make Ahead: Assemble and refrigerate unbaked rolls, then bake when ready.
  • Air Fryer Option: Cook at 350°F (175°C) for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway.
